Research Scholars Bring Laurels to ARIES in NSSS 2022
ARIES is happy to announce that the following research scholars from the institute have received Best Presentation Awards at the 21st National Space Science Symposium (NSSS) 2022 hosted by Center of Excellence in Space Sciences India and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata. NSSS 2022 provides a scientific forum for the presentation of new results and to discuss recent developments in space science, planetary exploration and space and ground-based astronomy programmes/projects being pursued at various research institutions and universities in India.
- Mahendar Rajwar for his poster 'Assessment of surface ozone at Dehradun: a valley site in Himalayan and its comparison with other cities' (PS1: Space based meteorology, oceanography, geosphere-biosphere interactions)
- Shivangi Pandey for her poster 'Broad-Line Region and Black-hole Mass of PKS 0736+017' (PS4: Astronomy and astrophysics)
- Ankur Gosh for his poster 'Search for merger ejecta emission in Short Gamma Ray Bursts from very late time radio observations with uGMRT' (PS4: Astronomy and astrophysics)
