Abstract

Radiative feedback of massive stars is one of the key processes that regulates star formation and galaxy evolution. Positive feedback may trigger the formation  of new stars by various processes, e.g.,  collecting dense shells of gas, implosion of the pre-existing density enhancements etc. while negative feedback may inhibit further  star formation by shredding molecular clouds. Here, I will discuss results of our recent work based on the multiwavelength study of a few Galactic star forming regions to explore the triggered star formation and  understand the environmental impact on the the formation and evolution of young  low-mass stars.
