Abstract
Isolated black holes, either as products of stellar evolution or of primordial origin, should fill the Galaxy accreting gas, radiating, and interacting with the environment. In this talk, I will explore the consequences of the presence of outflows, winds or jets generated from these objects, on their actual accretion rate. I will show that the presence of outflows is likely to affect the accretion process on the scales of the sphere of influence of the black holes, i.e. within their Bondi radius, and this should have important consequences for their direct and indirect detection.
