Impact of radiation driving in relativistic jets in general relativistic and Compton scattering regime is to be highlighted in the first part of the talk. Besides mathematical formulation and analysis techniques used in this steady state analysis, detailed observational significance of obtained results like Lorentz factors, temperatures and internal shocks in the jets is discussed.
Second half portion of the presentation is designed for the proposed work at ARIES for the pdf tenure. I will mainly discuss two projects, 1. The spectral modification of black body spectrum from the neutron star surface by interaction with the high energy electrons in its atmosphere and 2. Simulations of radiation driven winds from the accretion discs around black holes and implications of the study.
Mr Mukesh Kumar vyas has submitted her PhD thesis under supervision of Dr Indranil. Now, he has applied for the PDF position at ARIES.
