In this project, GRB X-ray afterglow light curves of 125 GRBs occurred in the past six years (2012-2017) were fitted with either a single power law or a broken power law. The best fit values of the temporal decay index and the break time were estimated using a chi-squared minimization technique. For the light curves with the signature of the break, we estimated the spectral index β and the electron energy index 'p' using the applicable closure relations. We found that out of 17 GRBs with a significant break in the light curve, 12 GRBs show a hard electron energy index (p<2).
