ARIES celebrates a week long Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
15th August, 2022 is going to be the 75th anniversary of India's Independence. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to commemorate this monumental occasion. It commenced on 12th March, 2021 - a 75 week countdown to the 75th anniversary of our independence. The activities during this period will celebrate our glorious history, culture and achievements and highlight the resurgent, Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
We have been regularly conducting scientific colloquia, seminars, science outreach talks and popularization of various celestial events as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav activities at ARIES. Under the same umbrella, we are going to have a week long celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (2-6 August, 2021) during which we have organised various public outreach activities. Please go through the poster and schedule given below.
The following is the schedule of the activities, which will follow a theme on each day. All these activities will be live steamed on ARIES's Facebook Page and YouTube Channel. We urge you to join us!
