Aryabhatta Research Institute of observational sciencES (ARIES) invites application for the position of a Senior Project Associate purely on temporary basis to work on the observations made from ARIES facilities. The project is intended to analysis the radiosonde measurements and Sonic anemometer data in order to understand the sources of atmospheric turbulence and association with mountain topography over the central Himalayan site. The position is initially for 6 months likely to start from 01 March 2024. The selected candidate will also be involved in the operation and maintenance of the related observing facility.A walk in Interview will be conducted in the meeting roomof ARIES Guest house on 29 February, 11 AM onwards. The criteria for the selection of Senior Project Associate:
- Master’ s degree in Physics
- A minimum of four years of experience in the aforementioned/relevant area OR Doctoral Degree in Physics or related subject
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Tenure: For the period of 6 months.
- Monthly Emolument: Rs. 42000 + HRA for Senior Project Associate
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
- Termination: Director, ARIES reserves the right to terminate the engagement/contract at any stage in case of impropriety, misconduct, and breach of conditions, irregular attendance, or poor quality of performance.
- Posting: The selected candidate will be posted at ARIES office locations.
- All other Terms & conditions shall be governed as per the Institute norms.
