The mysteries of the universe have always captivated me and is the reason I decided to pursue my carrier in Astronomy and Astrophysics. I graduated and earned PhD degree in Physics from Kumaun University in Nainital. 

I am currently working as a Scientist at the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), since last two decades and pursuing my research career  stellar astrophysics.

My areas of research interests are of wide range e.g. :

• Asteroseismology
• Studies of the Chemically Peculiar Stars
• High time and spectral resolution photometry, spectroscopy and spectropolarimetry
• Census of Variability in Star Clusters
• Binary and Active Stars
• Optical variability of Blazars
• Instrumentation initiatives (development of rapid photometric systems)
