More than 300 stars have been observed under the Nainital-Cape survey which resulted in the discovery of eight new delta Scuti type pulsators having periods in the range of several minutes to few hours. In order to interpret the reported variabilities, I will present an asteroseismic modelling of these stars. Additionally, a stability analysis will also be discussed for those stars which are commonly observed under the Nainital-Cape Survey and by the Kepler mission.
