This is an interdisciplinary talk related to Smart Water Monitoring, Control and Billing System in ARIES, Manora Peak, Nainital. During last few years it is observed that ARIES, Manora Peak Campus is facing water crises, specially during winter. Users do not know about the available amount of water in their water tanks. To solve this problem, Electrical Section of ARIES has developed 4 levels water monitoring sensor along with controller. In addition to it, water flow level sensor, water flow rate meter and solenoid valve have been integrated with water controller.
After successful implementation of this system in water tanks, we can monitor and control the water level in any tank intelligently (without any man power) and online water bill can be generated. Also the end user can know in advance about the available amount of water in his/her tank. Water committee of ARIES is specially invited to attend this talk for further suggestions and modifications to this system.
