Distance measures are used in physical cosmology to give a natural notion of the distance between two objects or events in the universe. Although the main focus of my talk will be these cosmological distances, I will talk distances at all levels in astronomy. I will briefly explain the concept of redshift and expansion of Universe. I will also give an example of these cosmological distances in real astronomy work and some relevant weblinks to play with them.
