Star formation plays a major role in galaxy evolution and its energetics over cosmic time. We have selected a sample of 26 Wolf-Rayet (WR) galaxies to study the star formation scenario in galaxies. The galaxy-galaxy tidal interaction is expected to be fundamental mechanism which triggers star formation in galaxies. We have performed HI 21-cm line and H-alpha line imaging of these galaxies to see the interaction features in the selected galaxies. The H-alpha observations together with archival data from various surveys provide very important correlations between star formation rates estimated using different radiation mechanisms. The radio-FIR correlation in WR galaxies is also estimated.
