The talk deals with the physical and mathematical interpretation of two aspects of hydrodynamic model of astrophysical objects, spherical accretion (Bondi 1952) and outflows (Parker 1958). The talk touches approximately most of the branches of astronomy and astrophysics, where it is widely applicable. Various astrophysical implications will also be discussed.
