Abstract

Climate change is debated for a long time but the influence of Sun and other extragalactic high energy particles has the potential to interfere the existing process of the in different domains. Environmental Cycle has different sub cycles and its changes are complicated. Data from the instrument Space Environment Viewing and Analysis (SEVAN-INDIA) and Solar and Heliophysical Observatory (SOHO) data are showing the changes in the Sun-Earth Environment. Heliophysical parameters recorded by the SOHO satellite and downloaded before sudden changes in impact specific weather on the Earth. These data include Proton Flux, Electron Flux and Planetary indices (KP). Case study of thunderstorm in Delhi, torrential rain and disaster in Uttarakhand and power grid failure analysis in northern India were eye opener for the extraterrestrial researchers. Heliophysical and Cosmic Ray data correlation with these episodic events has established that the short term weather fluctuations, disasters and other physical changes of the built environment needs detailed investigations and research. Global changes are definitely being influenced by the changes in the space weather and have bearing on climate change. Heliophysical parameters and Cosmic Ray from the Sun has the potential to change the Atmosphere, Biosphere and Geo-sphere of the Earth. However the perturbations show anti correlation with the galactic cosmic rays as manifestations of Forbursh decrease.
