Nation Space Day Celebration, 13 - 23 August 2024
India achieved a momentous milestone in Space Exploration with the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission when the Vikram Lander landed on the surface of Moon on 23rd August 2023. This achievement of ISRO made India only the fourth country to land on the Moon and the first one to do so in the Lunar south pole region. To commemorate this achievement, the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared 23rd August as the National Space Day (NSpD).
