Academic Background
I completed my graduation from Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa (Haryana), and my post-graduation from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur (West Bengal) in May 2023. I did my M.Sc. Project on Computational Astrophysics under the supervision of Prof. Somnath Bharadwaj. I joined ARIES (Nainital) in Dec 2023 to pursue research in Solar Physics under the supervision of Dr S. Krishna Prasad.
Research Interest and Description
My primary interest is understanding the damping mechanisms of slow waves in the solar atmosphere, so we can assess their relevance to solar atmospheric heating and utilise their properties for seismology.
