Significant Academic Accomplishments
- Discovery of the first chemically peculiar heartbeat star using the Kepler telescope.
- Discovery of seismic quakes in a dozen chemically peculiar stars using ground-based telescopes.
- Discovery of milli-magnitude pulsations in eight chemically peculiar stars.
- Discovery of the first giant double radio relic PLCKG287.0+32.9 in a Galaxy Cluster.
- Discovery of the largest, unusual, highly asymmetric radio galaxy jet.
- Developed a three-channel PMT fast photometer for the 1.04-m telescope in collaboration with ISRO.
- Developed a fast CCD fast photometric system for the 1.3-m telescopes at Devasthal indigenously.
- Member of SOC and guest editor of 7 international conferences (#3 Belgium, #2 India, #1 Poland, #1 Russia).
