You can fly from most destinations in the world to New Delhi. The nearest Airport is Pantnagar (PGH). Depending on your arrival time you can check if you prefer to fly further with a domestic airline to Pantnagar and travel by road further to reach Nainital.

Recommended- Travel by Road via taxi from Delhi: Taxi (6-7 seater) arrangements with a driver are made from Delhi International Airport or any hotel in New Delhi to Nainital on a payment basis (~Rs. 8500/- expected). Considering luggage, 3-4 persons can comfortably share this travel (~ 6-hour drive) from New Delhi to Nainital.

A sedan car can also be arranged (~Rs. 7500/- expected) and 2-3 persons can share this travel. A google form will be available here to provide a common platform. Payment (using credit cards or cash or UPI) can be made when you reach conference venue (ARIES).

We can arrange pick from the Pantnagar airport. The charges for Taxi (6-7 seater) along with driveris about Rs4000 and a Sedan type taxi (4 seater) along with driver is about Rs3000. Kathgodam is the nearest railway station - 35 Km from Nainital.

        From/To Lucknow - Bagh Express, Kgm Ljn Express, CNB Garibrath

Travel time from is about 5.5 to 7 hours. If you are interested in taking this option then please note that the last part of the journey (Kathgodam to Nainital) still needs to be done on the road - travel time is about 1 hour. We can arrange a taxi for the same on the payment basis.




India has a special visa category called - conference visa. We, the local organizing committee, will apply for this to the ministry such that the meeting participants can apply for a visa under this category for attending the annual meeting.
